Air pollution affects 90% of the world's population (WHO), but as an invisible it is often forgotten.
"Whats Up" is an installation that communicates air quality and information to raise awareness and encourage action. Using color and lights it is intended to bring air quality data from NILU into the public space, as well as spreading knowledge about the topic to the general population. It is creating an environment both young and old can investigate where it’s easy to learn in a fun way. Hopefully it could leave a mark to encourage people to take measures to better the air we all breathe.
